Thought this was Ayre when I first saw it, which also fits the trope.

I hope the escape room puzzles in No Sleep for Kaname Date are good

I feel like the odds of them being good are pretty high. At least at the level of the zero escape games but with more processing power to support more ambitious ideas than the DS/3DS were capable of.

Man that reminds me the "puzzles" in the first game were so ass.
Though I gotta respect them for committing to the "dream logic" stuff all the way through.

I feel like 2 had some puzzles that were still dreamlike but not just trial and error. I didn't really like where the story went, though.

I think the only Somnium I really liked was the factory one, Psyncin' in the Refrain. It actually felt like I was doing a puzzle compared to the others where I was kinda just walking and guessing. If they were all designed like that then I would really enjoy them.

I liked the DNA one at the Biology institute in 2. Where you build a guy out of two different types of DNA (like "fisherman" and "gambler" to build someone who can solve the problems you're facing.

Her flash forward design where sheโ€™s 24 and already anxious about younger idols taking the throne from her is really good looking.
