I was listening to a minecraft video essay while I was doing my homework when the guy said something along the lines of

"Only" 2 hours? 2 hours is enough for a good movie or novella to upend your point of view and change your life. Instead gamers choose to waste it holding a mouse button on low-resolution cubes for something they will forget once they get bored of the 2 week phase. There is a disconnect between how gamers vs non-gamers perceive and spend time.

usually youll stay in minecraft worlds a lot longer than a day. its not a big commitment for a persistent sandbox game
