I'd like a more open ended space game with the same level of granular control. Just roaming around a galaxy getting into fights, trading, invading planets and maybe setting up shop somewhere. The fact that you lose your progress every single time once you hit the end is fucking gay. Just let you carry the same crew and ship over to another local group. To maintain difficulty keep upping the stakes like rolling fleets that you have to chew through.

A mech version could be one that takes place over a series of worlds following the crew of said mech. If you based it on the Brigador universe you could a follow a bunch of paint huffing Corvids trying to keep their Ratking alive as it travels across the colonies doing contracts for the various Spacer guilds. SNC was just one of those sent to roll Solo Nobre back into the fold after it went AWOL.

The RPG mechanics would be tied directly to the creator.
Have it be right before the start of an apocalypse where you and many other test subjects break out of a genetic engineering facility.
Game has story mode with multiple endings and a sandbox mode.
Perfect game idea imo.

RF already has monster taming, so you just put a pokemon skin on it. Farm berries. Expand on some of the berry eugenics mechanics from gen 6. Can even replace the chemistry items with pokemon potions and such.

this more or less was the original idea for pioneers of olive town, you can google some concept art about how it was a bit darker on the very early stages of development, one remnant of that is you finding cows and chickens in the wild and also repairing dilapidated barns and coops and shit.

MOUNT & BLADE BUT WITH MODERN WEAPONS.
You can join a faction or create your own guerrilla and raid towns to take slaves and resources, just like M&B. You can also negotiate truces and deals for peace. But you have to care for your towns and the places you conquer or else people will revolt.

Undertale-like RPG with a TETRIS ATTACK battle system, where the overworld puzzles are puzzle-mode tetris attack levels.

Tower Defense but you are a wizard managing a tower and you have to defend it while building up more floors which add more wizards to the tower. Each floor gets a different magic specialty, with some of them being silly stuff like magic that tells you the weather (it's actually helpful but you don't know that until late into the game) or magic that turns all wizards into flower vases

A top-down or a first person game with a modular magic system based on collecting words of a magical languge where casting requires you to type out functional combinations and possibly a somatic component simulated with pressing keys in patterns that form shapes, optional or required ingredients being consumed per spell.
Time could be slowed down when the word input window for spell casting is brought up, maybe by an item, consumable or not.
Inventory management.
Can recruit people and animals to act as meat shields giving you time to cast and to carry your stuff.

I get the trillion dollars to make the game instead of the game being worth a trillion dollars, right?
