That wasn't even the strongest powerup, not being able to see your dash location made it much harder to land what you want. Heart and Double Heart were the best powerups even for S-ranks.

Yeah, the invincible dash makes King Dice much harder actually as you can't see yourself when dashing above his card spam.
The extra heart charm is completely outclassed by the cookie and the heart ring, though these are DLC charms. Base game, I think parry sugar is the best.

VERY good choice, was about to post it myself. Though I think at this point it might be considered an AA game? Whatever it's kino.

Yeah, Shovel Knight is great, though I wish the bosses were a bit harder, you can facetank most fights. King Knight is definitely the best campaign but the ending fucking stings.
Best BGM in the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sDYIy8lUnQ

I never said it was the best, but soon after cuphead modern 2D games started overusing the i-frame dash. I don't think that's just a correlation.

Legit my favorite game of the 2010s
Cuphead is a damn good game and I'm super hyped for whatever new IP Studio MDHR is cooking up next

best for what? retards with the reflexes of a corpse? the best charm in the game for doing more damage is coffee, the best charm for dodging attacks is learning the patterns. you dont know what youre talking about

The game + DLC took them a decade to make and there was a lot of overtime and crunch, dunno if they have it in them for another game like this.
