>>712894615 Apparently. Which is funny because Aero was almost universally disliked at the time. Just you wait, we'll soon have post-zoomers nostalgic for the piss filter + bloom era of shooters.
>>712896694 >because Aero was almost universally disliked at the time. What a load of bullshit. Vista itself was disliked for perfomance reasons, not for its interface. Up until Vista visuals were improving - 7 is somewhat downgraded Vista, 8 is an atrocity, everything onward is just 8 slightly toned down.
>>712898994 >Apple makes it look good Lolnope. I don't know why, but it looks like there is no old experts in anything anymore, so every newfag goes almost exactly the same way, encounters exactly the same problems, but lacking freedom and enthusiasm brings worse solutions.
>>712899303 Aero was transparency with some blur. It didn't look like glass, didn't reflect or refract like glass. Apple actually bothered to program the UI to do the same things glass does. Seethe all you want, Apple is the only one still bothering to make good UIs. Everyone else, even Linux, just follows.

>>712896694 Twilight Princess is old enough that that has or will likely happen. Also, the bloom in Twilight Princess never bothered me although I learned years later that people didn't really like it. IT really gave the Twilight Realm that otherworldly.
