He predicted a million-dollar Artifact tournament. I wouldn’t wipe my ass with the paper his word is printed on.

Valve screwed over the Artifact fanbase by cancelling the Artifact 2.0 beta without even allowing users to invite friends like they said they would in January 2021 and does not deserve your financial support for these gross consumer-unfriendly practices.

He worked at Microsoft, he knew that they would enshittify everything the first chance they get, especially with them pushing the Microsoft Store thus giving them an incentive to fuck with Steam
Putting all your eggs in Apple's basket wouldn't be wise either
There was only one option from the start

He knew the depths of Microsoft's greed would eventually make everyone but normie trash hate Windows. I'm switching to Linux in the Autumn when the weather turns.

The part where Microsoft programs theirs updates on PCs actively running the latest version of Windows, which force-update whenever they push out an update.
So in the event they somehow brick everything, they have to bring in a batch of laptops from off-site running a different OS to fix it.

Linux won't take over gaming (yet) because microsoft still has zombie momentum and the linux scene is showing its own problems with "corporate interests" and their freak drones (who do it for free). however the writing has been on the wall for years in the software world that windows is an unsustainable mess of shit built on shit that will collapse at some point, where microsoft will either have to stop fucking around and rebuild everything or they'll continue their path and eventually run out of money. the linux experience now is much better than even 5 years ago; I don't have a windows machine anymore and don't even need to use windows VMs, valve and their work on proton has a lot to do with that

with Windows, I couldn't even run games that required 4GB of RAM on my old potato laptop. with Mint, I was able to get DA:O running smoothly on medium settings and no crashes. truly a paradigm shift when I can reclaim GBs of RAM back that Windows unnecessarily sequestered, for overall worse performance.

Windows was flying red flags all day.

Maybe you should upgrade your PC instead of pretending that's useful for anyone except NEETs with the same shit for decades.

>Just buy more hardware
This is exactly why devs don't put any effort into optimizing their PC releases, they know retards like you will just keep spending money until the game starts running well
