Solo escape rate is roughly where they want it to be which is 40%. 4 Swf is 48%. duos and trios interestingly was 38%
The reason why 40% is intended is because asymmetrical 1vX games are inherently snowballing as hell. Once you eliminate one player it because far easier to eliminate more. And vice versa. If the Killer hasnt eliminated anyone yet, getting the last guy out is free.
The 3gen is heavily nerfed to the point the only killer who can abuse it for long periods of time is Singularity.

Or just want to scare off a potential save from happening before they pick up. Some powers are also heavily punished for playing normally (oni and twins for example)

Camping is generally a terrible idea unless survivors are actively playing into it,. The endgame camp is accepted by devs because the killer has nothing to defend but the hooked.
Unless you are facing a S tier killer, most of the time the reason survivor is unfun, is because of the other survivors - ethier having meltys and giving up, ratting for hatch, or farming unhook in the killers face.
