What the actual fuck? This isn't free?

I was about to try this game that looks as F2P as it gets and you have to pay for it?

Where the developers even alive when concord released?

$40 F2P shooter thread

It looks like PS4 unreal slop. It'll just flop hard and be forgotten forever. Bad idea, bad release window, bad price, apparently bad execution but I will never play it like everyone else

Thought the same, bought it, refunded after an hour.
It's not Concord but it's pretty fucking bad. It feels like some kickstarter beta more than an actual game. I kinda wanted Remedy to pull this off

This is a game built for streamers to play once or twice and never touch again like Get Out.

It's very rough and short on content.
Combined with their bad IP and awful borderline Nasapunk aesthetic ala Starfield, they were batshit insane to charge even that much for the title.
>t.played through the beta

Content length is 100% worth looking into before you buy it. I believe the beta had something like 3/4 the finished levels, but even then, I could see blowing through everything with friends in three to four hours easily. Each level felt like a third to half a L4D campaign level by comparison

Makes sense that they charge for it. They count on the hordes of mindless retards watching popular streamers to impulse buy it before the game dies completely in a month or so.

I'd pay $40 if it was a single player game on the level of Control. I will never, EVER, pay for multiplayer only games.

do I have to click quick play to get into a party? I've selected a job and been staring at a 'forming a party' bar at the top of my screen for 5 minutes and I'm not sure if it's just dead right now or if I'm doing something wrong.

I played the alpha a couple of times, it was fucked back then too. I have no idea why they shipped it like this, I thought it was a 2026 game in a very early state lol.

It's just another early access failure pretending to be a release.

It'll be 50% off in 2 months and get a full release in 2 years to die immediately like all the other early access streamerbait (if can even be assed to keep working on this shit)

Surprise Control expansion at $10 would've sold 10 times what this will ever sell.

A new Control would've been a success, now their flimsy reputation is about to go forever. RIP Remedy

>It feels like some kickstarter beta more than an actual game.
dosnt even feel like a beta, seems like a prototype, something you throw together in 3 months from reused assets to show the management

honestly, the state this released is unacceptable, people should boycott remedy products, should be pulled from stores until it has a fucking decency to come with more content than 1 hour of repetitive grind

i can bet this was control DLC someone dug up and sold since Alan Wake 2 flopped

no idea what they did for a full whole year since annoucemnt, since everything i see in this game is 1 to 1 in the trailer from last year, literally everything

Got it, played 2 games, it's just hold some zombies and hold the mouse button on an objective.

Looks bad. I was playing in some fucking brazilian server or some shit and when I shot something, it'd react about 1 second later.

This picture has the graphics set to the maximum, 4k, it still looks the same as control, same assets, same effects, same environments and doesn't look amazing either

it runs well at least. Not some 30fps stuttery console trash like a lot of games release recently

I'll give it a hard 3/10
You can go play doom 2016's sections where you're in a closed space clearing demons and it'll be the same experience but good, with good graphics and decent shooting.
