It's very rough and short on content.
Combined with their bad IP and awful borderline Nasapunk aesthetic ala Starfield, they were batshit insane to charge even that much for the title.

Content length is 100% worth looking into before you buy it. I believe the beta had something like 3/4 the finished levels, but even then, I could see blowing through everything with friends in three to four hours easily. Each level felt like a third to half a L4D campaign level by comparison

I'd pay $40 if it was a single player game on the level of Control. I will never, EVER, pay for multiplayer only games.

do I have to click quick play to get into a party? I've selected a job and been staring at a 'forming a party' bar at the top of my screen for 5 minutes and I'm not sure if it's just dead right now or if I'm doing something wrong.

This picture has the graphics set to the maximum, 4k, it still looks the same as control, same assets, same effects, same environments and doesn't look amazing either

it runs well at least. Not some 30fps stuttery console trash like a lot of games release recently

I'll give it a hard 3/10
You can go play doom 2016's sections where you're in a closed space clearing demons and it'll be the same experience but good, with good graphics and decent shooting.
