They don't want to properly acknowledge how AI interacts with IP law, because they want to keep the lifetime duration of copyright, the 20 year duration of patents (in a time where paradigm shifts can occur every year lmao) and the indefinite duration of trademarks (need to be able to make money off of things in public domain lmao, ignore that this shit should have just been replaced with a hash value, since trademark nowadays mostly just facilitates industry fraud and passing off Chinkshit).
