Did you know? In the early days of the 6th gen, Gamecube was struggling and losing a battle against the PS2. Capcom decided to show its support for the Gamecube, which emanated in the form of 5 exclusive games: P.N.03, Viewtiful Joe, Resident Evil 4, Killer7, and Dead Phoenix. Those were the big plans, but they were destined to crash with no survivors because later Capcom decided to release three of those games — Joe, RE4, and K7 on the PS2, where they became much more prominent. The only retained exclusive, P.N.03, flopped hard, and Dead Phoenix got cancelled. This disaster planted a schism between Nintendo and Capcom that hasn't fully healed to this day.
Such is the tale of Capcom Five.
