Oblivion Remastered out of obligation of it being the only 2025 game I have played so far.
It will probably end up being a three way tie between Kirby Air Riders, Metroid Prime 4, and Expedition 33 when I finally get to it.

The combat is alright and at least fun to cheese waves in one turn, though it becomes less relevant after the first run when you get the option to skip repeat battles. The story and different choices/routes are definitely the main selling point.

I disagree, I'd say the writing gets to shine since characters don't just die in the middle of their arcs and (almost) every character gets to shine and give you a reason to care about them unlike Dangan where half of the cast is just fodder for a murder case.
