Same defense as loli porn. It's fictional characters in fictional settings, performing fictional actions. No real damage is being done to any real person, place, or thing. If you want to play a VR game that's built entirely around the mechanics of strangling nuns and puppies and burning down orphanages, then you should be able to, so long as your actions do not translate to the real world.
