Still harder than the OG, which is the easiest game in the entire series. The fact you're using "difficulty" as a metric of quality of RE2 of all things (the RE designed for babies) is a fucking joke. The very fact you have to aim inherently makes it harder lmao. The bosses completely demolish classic 2 as well. The SINGLE instance OG2 is hard, is the final B Scenario Tyrant fight... only on nightmare Arrange (which I doubt you and the other shit posters played).

I'm also better at REmake 1 than you, and OG 1 btw. REmake 1, by virtue of trying to be ""1:1"" of the original (IE a replacement) makes it a useless entry. It is, by it's.veey definition, a more casualized RE1. Piss easy zombies (when REmake 2 zombies are harder than the OG), crimson heads are a joke, Lisa Trevor adds nothing but tedium, hurts the flow of movement through the mansion, self defence items were introduced here, etc.

It literally has no reason to exist when I can just play Arrange mode in the OG. Meanwhile, REmake 2 is a different enough game to be a similar, but completely fresh experience. The ideas that remakes need to be ""a replacement "" instead of a complementary experience is what an autist would think.

I'd say the vast majority of players play the game, and a small handful complete all the extra stuff

some of the in-game challenge achievements were way harder than the steam/psn/xbox achievements i thought but seriously why spam this all the time? shit you could just slap the randomizer onto the remakes and make them as hard as you want without having to play the dlc modes and people still finish those with all sorts of restrictions on items and enemies being way out of control
