I run a friends YouTube channel as a side gig, and got it for that. Editing videos and stuff. I have one mega file that 700gb that all my projects work off of. It has basically never slowed down ever, and compiles videos ( no joke ) 30x faster than my desktop.

Boot camp died years ago. I use crossover. You just drag the exe into it and it does all the work. I’ve played 100s of games in the last three years. Both obscure and AAA, and I’ve had 2 games that didn’t work. And one was due to anti cheat. I like to use the laptop screen because it’s like 4K crammed into 15”. Most beautiful screen I’ve ever seen.

Granted I use a pretty beefy MacBook, so I can’t say how well yours will perform as there are lots of models. I’d say look into it. They’re fun

I live in Austin and WFH. Some days I get cooped up, and I have a choice of like a thousand coffee places nearby for work. I set up with work laptop and my thinkpad for personal stuff. Going to Starbucks might seem lame as compared going to some local place, but fact is this one SBUX is really solid, and they have that one big table, plenty of room for two laptops. The one problem? Their WIFI blocks 4chan. I downloaded tor for 4chan. Seems you can't post in tor, but you can browse at least.

I got a separate Windows PC where I don't even change the wallpaper that I use for VR and gacha games
