Dreamcast WAS a better system, just wasn't supported properly. It pioneered a lot of stuff. SEGA just sucked ass at the time and didn't know how to market it

I think we were desperate to be accepted by the movie crowd. That's where a lot of the graphics meme came from.

I think I lost that sentiment when I got the Xbox 360. I thought the whole graphics and realism was nothing but a meme. Even back then I knew we where losing something.

I loved the Wii. I really enjoyed skyward swords motion controls.

the hardware specs are roughly equal with different methods used in places, biggest difference really is the DVD data rates which gen1 ps2 shit fucked up anyway. yes the dreamcast controller was pretty mediocre and dualshock was already the standard god tier controller but thats not even a ps2 thing.
