>>712960878 (OP)I played this game for 140 hours before I quit in Expedition because I saw that my shotgun build was extremely subpar as I kept dying to Sørmibæren and pirates.
Nail Bombs are incredibly good. Free Drones have more interesting NPCs- although that's not saying much tbqh. Free Drones.
Abram must have helped them for a good reason. There are only 3 people you could absolutely trust in Underrail: Abram, Dude, and Ezra. They will both know AND do what's right.
Therefore, Free Drones
>>712961159Freedrones awards aren't much better unless you are doing a stealth build. Going protectorate is almost mandatory if you are doing a tin can/grenadier build.
>>712961258If you're really into build minmaxxing then yeah you'll like it. Don't go into it expecting expedition vibes though.
>>712965771>Abram must have helped them for a good reasonhe wants destabilization in the region as long as possible
he wants factions fighting against each other, possibly even ruining the entire area because that means then oculus gets off the hook
they have a spacemagic invisible forcefield but that won't protect them forever, it is in oculus' best interest to keep both factions busy with each other so anything that evens the playing field is good in his book
>>712965717That's the hardest content in the game. Sørmibæren chieftan, what's his name, Magnar, is easily the hardest fight in the game. I've only had one build good enough to go up to Magnar on dominating difficulty.
It's so difficult you can essentially consider fighting any of that as entirely optional (to complete The Expedition honestly the hardest things you might face off against is a couple Strongmen and Naga Protectors.
I've only done one Shotgun build. I wasn't a huge fan of it. It felt VERY demanding, but I might have been too scrubby at the time. It probably won't cut it for dealing with Magnar without some extra special tricks.
>>712965883>Going protectorate is almost mandatory if you are doing a tin can/grenadier build. Is it? I always do grenadier but I kill the free drones every time because they threatened me the first time I ever encountered them.
>>712966089Here comes the humiliating part, I was playing on normal difficulty. Then again, it is my first run so I definitely could have done some things better.
>>712966113Eh I mean on the lower difficulties you can skip the protectorate QL without much added headache. It helps to have their extra vendor that does the currency exchange and has a lot of the componets for explosives. Gun oil as a previous anon mentioned is very helpful for smg/AR builds.
I'm currently playing two different dominating builds side-by-side in alternating fashion.
It's been fun.
I think I'm going Free Drones on them both tho.
>>712966301That stuff is legitimately difficult even on Normal Difficulty. My first two playthroughs were on Normal and I wasn't skilled enough to handle most of the Expedition content.
>>712966319I guess I will keeping killing them forever then, shouldn't have tried to act tough. The gassing never happened, but they deserved it.
>>712966398Makes me feel a bit better at least, I should pick it up again and at least finish the main story.

DEATHSTALKER SHITS GOT ME FIREBOMBING ENTIRE CAVES
I gotta make my own Underrail game except with party members and more gore and sex.
>>712967774Underrail lacks good dialogue writing and complex quest structure. While the world building is excellent and the plots do pop off in a few place but overall it's not great writing. Graphically, the game is ass, and most of the soundtrack is mediocre (with a few standouts particularily with the The Expedition DLC). Underrails strength is entirely in the RPG side. It constantly challenges the player to engage with RPG mechanics- strategize, prepare, approach, adapt- and rides that line of impossible becoming possible constantly.
There's a hundred dominating viable builds without having everything coalesce into the same power pools, which is incredible.
If anyone else can take that last part and add it to some actual quality graphics, dialogue writing, gore and sex they should succeed big.
>>712967639If you see Red Dream mushrooms, spam Flares. Simple as.
>>712968157I hope Styg adds some more of that in Underrail 2. I’m not expecting a novel, but persuasion not being wholly useless would be kinda nice. I want more flavor dialogue too.
>>712961159>multiple vendors>questline gives great rewards for chem weapon builds>gun oil which is one of the best items in the game for any gun based build>cool base with good aestheticsvs
>1 vendor>unique item is a shittier grenade that's useless against the primary enemy you want grenades for (robots)>base is a dumpaside from finding out who the rat is, which is pretty difficult to do blind, there's no reason to pick free drones over protectorate. If the free drones was more fleshed out with multiple small bases around south underrail and more npcs/quests it would maybe be worth it but otherwise they suck.
>>712968414I have zero faith in that. When Underrail got "dialogue improvements" it actually went very poorly. The "improved" dialogue is very gay-coded and is fixated on a specific style of player voice vs. NPC voice. The Expedition style throat-choke moments all the way down, really. It doesn't even hold a candle to FO1/2 or Planescape Torment etc.
>>712961258the only energy weapons you get from the dlc are the energy cannon at the end of the dlc dungeon, which you'll get to use for maybe 5 screens before the dlc is completed, and gunslingers weapons which you also get at the end of the dlc, otherwise you have to kill him for it and hack the high level lock to use it. the main thing you get out of the dlc is heavy weapons which are really fucking fun. A good grenade launcher build is easy mode against everything that isn't the heavy duty dlc and a good lmg build is easy mode against everything once you get started. High armor lmg tank builds let you clear waves of enemies like nothing else, it feels awesome. I reccomend the dlc just for the heavy weapons build
>>712968414You'll take your autistically realistic hacking and lockpicking minigames and you'll hate them. Styg doesn't make logical game improvements, he does whatever his autism compels him to do.
>>712968901Sadly, but its something to aspire to. On the other end, Underrails great variety of builds teases me to try different things compared to say Planescape Torment where Charismatic intelligence mage is always the go to.
>>712969316Serbian misery
>>712969109Nice, I’ll pick it up when it goes on sale next time. What’s a good way to build for heavy weapons in the early game? I reckon it swallows your economy?
>Depot A deathstalker spawned too close to the entrance again
>>712969762If you aren't playing on dominating, it's not as bad as you might think. Heavy weapons share something like 60% weapons skill with normal guns so you just use whatever pistols you pick up until you can find a decent lmg/minigun. Grenades for a grenade launcher area different story, those are pretty expensive so you'll need to play a bit more conservatively in the early game but once you can craft ammo, it gets a lot easier mid game. Heavy weapons builds are obviously loud and hit a wide area so even with the lmg, you don't really need grenades or molotovs as much to deal with crowds, traps are also pretty unnecessary.
>>7129701323 Con, 3 Per build detected

Why shield capacitor components have a quality range despite all of them giving the same effect on shields?

It should probably be a new MC with the canon ending being that the first game's MC stayed in South Underrail not wanting to get involved with the ayy lmaos anymore and doesn't want Vera handing over all of South Underrail to the Protectorate since she's an undercover rat of theirs.

If we try and even remotely take anything from the Hells Gut at face value, or the visions we are able to get, or the fact that the Surface was quickly becoming less inhabitable hence the creation of the Underrail and the T6 uniting 5 of themselves for the Pasithee project in the Compound, the threat has a multi function spiritual corruption and also likely physical like effect on the world. It is uninhabitable in the same way a cursed radioactive haunted house is.
This is merely the Hel Tower. Its a purpose built cooling apparatus spanning many floors meant to connect the upper Underrail with the cave systems above with heat exchange pipes in order to achieve thermal equilibrium so the Underrail doesn't cook itself alive. There's no Surface, there's no Surface oddities, there's no Surface tech, there's no Surface anything, what we get is a mildly more spacious upper area and then the psionic spiritual manifestations of cold.
You don't have infinite snake spirits spawning, you don't have flaying winds, you don't have anything. The wind you hear at the top of the Utility Tower is steady, forceful and gusty, carries snow with it, and is cold enough - again - to instantly kill people.Do you not know basic thermodynamics? Wind inherently happens with temperature shifts or in large enough locations like the Hells Gut, especially with the constant purposeful push and pull of thermal difference of air, and caverns are big. They naturally built the HVAC where there's space and air, if you made an entire mega tech air conditioning unit, no shit ice and snow will form when you're doing masterful thermodynamicity shit.

Utility tower is presumably not the surface just because reaching the surface would be a monumental event and not something you randomly do in side content that isn't relevant to anything. It'd be like if you met the third godman and he was just a generic NPC that said hi and had no other dialogue. The surface is too important to just be the background to a bad boss fight.
The surface was Armageddon'd by the global megacorporations going to war on each other. luckily they had dug vaults to practice terraforming the inner crust of the earth before they began terraforming the solar system, so the Underrail escaped total human death.

>>712997171I am saying that it's annoying, not difficult. It's indeed not too hard to make a build that survives the Caverns, especially if you use your head, but having to wait until the enemies finish their turns so I can one shot them and then suffer 9 gorillion more interruptions is just shit.
I'm so pissed off that the Arena Masters and the Full Utility Tower are locked behind the autistic difficulty setting. Do you guys have a build I could tackle Dominating with? I usually play on Hard and imo it's great early game, but it does fall apart late game once I have my full build going, but Dominating early is a complete rapefest to me.
>>712997315Yeah, waterscooter travel is easily the weakest part. It takes too long and the fights you get in water are pretty underwhelming, though you can get a scooter with a massive cannon mounted on it. It's awesome.
>>712997035first of all bro:
you can neuter the eye of tchort effect via a minor quest https://www.stygiansoftware.com/wiki/index.php?title=Echoing_Soliloquy
2nd of all, unless you played it on dominating i honestly have no sympathy for shitter whining. At 20 ticks of eye of tchort, the rape starts. On easy, you get 1 tick every 5 seconds, 1 on normal, 2-3 on hard, 3-5 on dominating. On easy and normal that means 100 seconds pass before tchortling rape. On dom, it can be as low as 20 seconds from map entry making map exploration without combat essentially impossible.
>>712997441>I'm so pissed off that the Arena Masters and the Full Utility Tower are locked behind the autistic difficulty setting.go to nexus, there's a mod that lets you force whatever secret dominating boss fight you want, and on a different difficulty too
>I have my full build going, but Dominating early is a complete rapefest to me.play a spear chucker
>>712997441dominating isn't that hard after you clear junkyard
it's seriously bullshit early and you have to suffer through it
>>712997315I don't see it like that. You're on a timer before your base is overrun by the natives while you essentially try to crack the secrets of the black sea. Having faggy conversations with the ferryman is kind of secondary to exiling literal corporeal space snake demons and shutting off "the danger" buried here.
>>712997441The difficulty peaks at the psibeetle warehouse. After that it's easy as long as you play smart.
>t. first time doing dominating. Just finished fighting the beast and haven't died a single time yet.
>>712997794I did the beast quest at like level 4 on dom. This is how I did it as a shotgun player with a fortification maze of traps (combined with net throwing) and an easy bake oven. I refused any real form of grind on the playthrough, the game gives you so many options that a lot of "soft locks" can be broken.

>>712960878 (OP)what nortubel clone is this?
>>712993605The same reason Heavy Duty is lame. It's just 1 giant dungeon that locks you in, in an otherwise sandbox style game. Everything else + Expedition is peak adventure game.
>>712998231Think I already gassed them / or didn't have any at time. You can't have fire and gas at the same time. Bladenigs are incredibly heat resistant too but just turn up the heat you know? The picture does look quite insane but I had quite a few retries at this because Dan or whatever his name is kept dying.
>>712998515>It's just 1 giant dungeon that locks you inThat's what makes it so good
>>712998665Honestly I think it's just a skill issue. The real reason heavy duty sucks is because the good ending is locked behind an incredibly high specific single psi skill stat check (even worse on dom) and if you kill any of the guards constantly killing you (so you do want stealth too..) you also fail the good ending. You also have absolutely no way of knowing of this requirement until you get to the end.
T. played that entire fucking thing twice back to back because fuck you styg i want to defeat the demons
>>712960878 (OP)I have played this game for over 600 hours and never even finished it once.
I just reroll every time before deep caverns, I can't help it.
>>712998884The check isn't actually that bad. I've done it multiple times with 25 effective TC and I don't think that's excessive.
Does take a lot of retries with it that low though.
>>712998231there isn't much in life that isn't solved by gas
>>712999626I replayed it probably about 100 times on Dom testing out all the various methods and choices you can make without TC and it's unbeatable. Nice to know your chances slightly increase with it as a low stat, but there's no reason to even have the stat unless you are a psi player anyway. I went straight to cheat engine + 100 tc and suddenly it's really easy. It's just another case of styg being a faggot just like the monolith checks and just like occulus.

>>712997441You can do everything up to finishing Depot on Dominating by simply being a whore with Molotov, almost regardless of Build. It's more about knowledge than build.
That said- this is my favorite noob-friend Dominating build because it focuses on the tools that let you solve anything (throwing, traps) while having the room to grab 10 CON and Thick Skull. There's a lot of extra wiggle room with all that extra HP and never getting stunned out of a turn, and spamming traps and/or the right kind of high tier grenade->Limited Temporal Increment->grenade will be a two-turn solution to 99% of problems. The only downside is that you'll have a lot of visits to merchants, which is a small price to pay.
https://underrail.info/build/?HgMQAwoDBQYAAMKgAAAAAMKgTCIxNGxyZk1tAAAAIyEAVytjCCcwFi8mG0I-UVzDk17Cs1gabUDfvA
The order that you pick your feats aren't super important, and you could swap out almost any one of these feats. If you keep a catalogue of saves just before you level it'll really help in case you find could have made a more optimal choice to overcome whatever challenge you're doing at the moment.
It also helps to understand the purpose of Conditioning+Morphine here. through the use of Ancient Rathound Leather + Canned Meat + Lifting Belt etc. it all stacks additively(but not with armor) and your character reaches 85% damage resistance without the use of heavy, high quality armor. All this comes together with the ability to stealth around for scouting and traps, getting into trouble without having to fiddle with any restrictive gear swaps, shrugging off way more than 95% of other builds can do, all the while being an absolute plague with caltrops + nets + grenades + poisons + traps etc.
>>713002225nta but I'm pretty sure the game makes a checkpoint save before the events that have you go
>>712980052I really hate how things look in that screenshot, everything just blends together with no visual clarity to anything at all. sure hope that aesthetic isn't intended for the final product. gamedevs need to fucking stop sacrificing having a product that looks good on the altar of photorealism.
>>713002324Thanks anon, I've never done a throwing knives build, although I guess this is more of a trapper, grenadier kind of build, right? I know grenades are OP early, when I played a chem pistols build I could craft mk.IV's before even leaving Depot A and that made the early game a breeze.
>>712979647>of which three whole games exist. What are the other two?
>>713003081NTA but probably Ultima and Kings Field
>>713003202*Ultima Underworld that is
Arx was supposed to be a sequel but due to license fuckery they made it its own thing
>>713002586>trapper, grenadier kind of build, right?trapper, grenadier first, throwing knives as a filler second. Throwing Knives damage actually scale with throwing unlike grenades, with Fatal Throw making them work really well as an execute, but they're just a filler tool with poisons on them before that. As soon as you try Throwing Knives against some burrowers at the low/mid-levels you'll see that they just won't cut it.
The RNG has to be in your favor to find the blueprint, but its possible so if it happens I recommend just using Shock Shurikens in place of Throwing Knives for the early-midgame while Throwing Knife damage is still low and the Shock Shuriken damage is nice and relevant.
>>713002324I always delay thick skull until level 10 or so.
Nothing stuns you early unless you stand next to a sentry bot.
>>712961258It's just a cashgrab.
>>713003746yeah, that's what I meant about the order not being that important. Delay Thick Skull and take Opportunist instead. It won't matter much: 25% more throwing knife damage on a rathound that's fleeing instead of not getting stunned by a telekinetic punch from a psi-beetle in what is probably a lost battle anyway. Both situations should really just been about throwing more molotov to begin with
>>712968157>Underrails strength is entirely in the RPG side.I think you mean something else, like combat instead of RPG. It's the RPG that's nearly nonexistant. The combat is pretty good though, almost like a traditional roguelike in some ways.
>>713004258an action RPG might have "good combat." a turn-based RPG can't have "good combat", it has RPG mechanics that dictate battles. those RPG mechanics can be good.

>>713004639>fuck up enemy pathing>decent chance to cause fear>will do more damage than other grenades if you can get things to sit in the firedealing with rathound and mutant packs early on without them is really rough
>>713004159lack of stasis is also weird
>>713004696fists are even stronger
>>713004696Knives are the best melee weapons
>>712976203>What's the point of sniper rifles having 20 max range if your vision field is less than the one of crossbows(15)?so that the enemies can sniper you outside your vision
that and the rest are just parts of a good design.
>>712991782This is what I do
>>713004639does great fire damage
50% chance to put them on fire.
living targets on fire will panic and flee
sets an area on fire. moving through the fire will cause damage to be taken
so they flee through fire and take more damage
the fire area makes them try to run around sometimes, but won't stop them from going through smaller flames somewhat
then you throw another molotov, which will upgrade the size of the flames and now they WON'T run through the flames no matter what
so basically molotovs support throwing molotovs which support throwing molotovs
also the fire helps illuminate your foes which increases your precision when you shoot at them while waiting for your next chance to throw another molotov
and they're dirt cheap
>>713005709>can get taste for blood stacks super fast to get the 50% damage bonus>super cheap AP cost with maxed dex>versitale thanks to the mods you can slap on>can overcome damage resistances easily>missing attacks is no big dealLol yes
The best part is you can use them on a fist build because they require zero knife exclusive feats to be good.

>better dialogue writing
>procedural generation lower cave layouts for more replayability
>>712965717I didn't even have a build in this game. I was under the impression that I was better off having a balanced character once I realized I wasn't going to have party members and just put stats everywhere without thinking. I might have started over if I was playing on Dom (Deep Caverns were a BITCH), but even with only oddity exp you can manage, the game is very forgiving with the shit it throws at you as far as loot and quest rewards and shit. 140 hours, come on man were you maxed out on level?
>>713015627Additionally with Ferryman you can discuss how your character feels like they've died multiple times yet are still somehow alive. This may connect to what Six says about arriving to correct "frame" or whatever term he was using when you meet him in DC and he figures out you're the one to kill Tchort, which may allude to multiverse / timelines hijinks / savescumming being literal part of the game world.
Bravo, Toby Fox, you did it again.
>psi only got nerfed because of min/max autists that Styg listened to and also with him being a no fun allowed douche while leaving all the other OP shit like traps and grenades alone which have never gotten nerfed.
>also made it impossible to mod the game so people can't bring back the old psi without having to use the legacy version of the game that is missing out on content added after the nerf.
>>713017641the game is moddable styg is a really really average coder, people just can't be assed
>>713015627>you've just got to kill tchort bro>it's your destiny broThis is Fallout 3 all over again!
>>713017641>shit like traps and grenades alone which have never gotten nerfedObjectively wrong. Both three-pointer and quick tinkering have been nerfed, the QT getting shat on the most.
>made it impossible to mod the gameThere are mods for the game.
People who complain about these things (mostly the psi "nerf") have never played and/or are completely derailed and base their arguments on delusions.
>>713018121People complain about nerfing a single player game. How much of a nerf it was is irrelevant, it's even doing it in the first place.
>>712971374people in underrail are batshit insane and you're no exception
you've got a guy that lives and fights with Alpha rats and the champ of the arena beats the shit out of niggers with rocket launchers and shit with his bare fists.
>>713018121They got nerfed but maxed stealth and an inventory full of mines, bear traps, caltrops, and gas nades will still clear any encounter except the final boss without having to make a single attack.
>>712977209There's a lot of stronger shit than you. What if Six was part of a big ass faction? There's probably stronger Faceless than what we've seen. The justification from starting max level in a new scenario is possible within the lore.
>>713018775>will still clear any encounter except the final boss without having to make a single attackSame for psi, except you only have to carry a couple of cheap inhalers instead of literal tons of explosives. Also no need for attack rolls against Big T either, failure isn't an option for psi users.
>>713009559>literal puppets for a giant mutant abomination >best faction
>>713019080Tchort is evolution
>throws hoddurform at you

god any build with thought control could be improved by just using the other psi schools instead
>>713018931I guess, you're supposed to be going to Hexagon as well anyway which is full of cyborgs with really high tech.
>>713002225It IS, but I spent about 8 hours savescumming my way through Deep Caverns and didn't realize it was going to be such a pain in the ass until I was in too deep. I probably should have reloaded after 2 hours in, but I kept thinking "I've done so much already, it can't be that much longer".
>>713006486I wish ALL RPGs had the oddity system. Discourages the grind, encourages exploration. It was a damn good decision that should be the default for the genre.
>>713011907>Godmen hands typed this post>>713013379I can't think of any other reason Carnifex is so goddamn OP
>>712975842Hopefully direct sequel never.
My guy is enjoying a nice life as the SGS benevolent dictator (former war criminal) and would never follow that retard faggot Six up north.
>>712998231>gas grenadesbear traps and HE grenades did the trick for me

>>713020479Adding on
>the most simpleminded retard can make one from readily available components, unlike actual explosives which require much higher skill to handle
>>713020479That's good and all but an explosive grenade could just simply kill said group in one blast, and if there are a few survivors they go down in one hit with whatever weapon/build I'm using.
>>712960878 (OP)What's a fun build
>>713019251brainblasting a nigga 7 times in one turn is so fun though
>>713019682>I can't think of any other reason Carnifex is so goddamn OPpsi-monk builds a character can do are equally powerful or even more so.

Can get a psi-monk max damage reduction supersteel metal armor (with bleed) with lightning punches still active and dance around the zone while shitting out giga-damage and control. I prefer doing this with The Claw for the disgusting synergy for stacking Contaminate with Psychokinesis damage and hitting a more efficient Dex AP breakpoint than unarmed
>>713020845-max strength every level
-unarmed
-corporeal projection
-force user
-telekinetic punch
punch people REALLY FUCKING HARD. if they don't die in one hit, PUNCH THEM AGAIN.
>>713020841nta but come on
>fear>makes AI sperg out >lights the area up>can be made at the beginning and the ingredients aboundthe base version is more than enough for the entire game really
>>713021134>FUCKING STILL SHILLING HIS PSI-MONK BUILDI WANT OF THIS RIDE AAAAAAAAAAA
>>713021387I've used them as well but usually during early/mid game, I just end up not needing them especially if I'm on a pure wizard build and can just cryo orb a group.
>>713019986I'm a packrat and had a gorillion ammo going in. I'm also a retard
>>713017541 that thought I should make a "balanced" character and ended up with my stats all over the place (pic related is my stats from my first save after beating Tchort). I'll post the rest so you all can laugh at me.

>>713021738>>713021991Nothing on this mpc but a game about some siphoner-like amphibian jumping across rivers. Crashes after a couple of seconds of gameplay.

Hank Wardell (the mystery NPC that previously owned your house that Phreak, Ferryman, and Svana talk about meeting and is mentioned as initials h.w. here
>>713022159) is probably Styg's self-insert Marty Stu, yeah?

>>713022076>>713021903But is that just a ticket to see him? Or HIS ticket?
Anyway, I went INTO the Deep Caverns in an even more dire state, because I was level 16 iirc. To beat Tchort I had to do the puzzle to weakn him. Strip and use stealth to plant traps all over the fucking place for Tchortlings, continue in stealth to plant the TNT (had 3 in inventory, realized I was only getting 2 set before getting hardstuck after several tries), go into the room at the entrance to the arena, put all my shit back on, kill a few tentacles and beeline to him before tentacles respawn and tchortlings overcame traps
>>713022342I assume it's supposed to be another "player character."
>>713022159>>713022581Rib is the siphoner man. Siphoner man has a camp in the fetid marsh. He also is in every single arena match on the stands. What probably happened was just Siphoner and Invictus hanging out and then Hank Wardell being the protag fuck that he is chilling with both.
>>713022342Hank Wardell is more of a reference/joke about being a retired RPG protagonist like how he was able to afford the richest house in Core City after appearing from nowhere.
>>713022990Rib(bit) is the sound frogs do. Siphoner man is man with siphoner head, frog. Invictus is arena man, Siphoner man in arena. Hank is protag tier everywhere agility laser pistols build motherfucker that Styg likes having.
>>713023096he was also able to climb up the glowing canine then stealth through the pirate camp and steal a jetski without anyone knowing he was there
im amazed by the amount of reactivity your jet ski gets
I hope I will see Vivian again in Infusion...
>>713023361He was able to do all that yet dies a retarded death killing himself in an accidental explosion while fucking around with chemicals in his basement. Do you think Styg would do the same for the MC if he ever made a sequel? Like imagine meeting some SGS member and they tell you how the new council member (the PC) ended up slipping on something and broke his neck dying instantly.
calling it now
Underrail 2 will be us meeting Hank Wardell (he's alive!) and becoming his second-rate bitch while we have our levels reset back to us jobbing to rathounds. The ending twist will be that Tanner was a good guy all along and we'll have to fight Seven (formerly known as Six)
>>713023661did they ever find the body?
I'm skeptical that he died
>>713023625>there's actually a good written quest for once>its popularity just has Styg punish the players by killing the character off-screenwhy
>>713023661>he thinks HW is deadThat fucker was also void travelling he's fine and dandy. He wrecked his home but he's out there for sure dipdick, rule 1 of storytelling, don't murder your cool dudes offscreen, keep them off screen.
I really like the lore of the game, hopefully the next game will have more RPG elements like the old Fallout games.
>>713023661"chemicals in his basement" -> it probably wasn't chemicals it was probably some riftwalking shit. Both Synesthete and Dude get in your house that way I'm positive Hank Wardell got out that way.
>>713024298basically if Underrail had dialogue trees + quest structure on par with Fallout it would be much better
Are there other games that scratch the same itches as this?
>>713024382Yeah but then they'd have to put effort into the game.
>>713024469pretty sure 95% of us have replayed Fallout 1 and/or 2 a hundred times. Same kind of build variation replayability to it
I think the Ferryman is full of shit and I blast him and scrape him off his dumb boat first thing every time.
