Euros were fine back in the day too, as I used to browse the web for fanmade websites of my favorite vidya, and a lot of PC games in particular had dozens upon dozens of awesome sites full of unique and passionate articles and media. Even the ones in another language like deutsch were good fun to check out. Just good people sharing their love of the game.

It's really sad how much of the old web is pretty much lost to the void due to digital decay. So many old images, gaming guides, news, mods, etc. (Xfire being a good example). Just mountains of gaming history from a better time gone forever.

I've had wonderful times playing with people from all around the world.
I've also had terrible times, like trying to play some TF2 and then some German faggot has to ask a million questions disguised as criticism about my country.
