>>712976809 (OP) No. Because what does that version even add or improve? It looks EXACTLY like the one. They didn't even add new models or cut content, just AI upscaled some textures and called it a day. Basic NWN2 with mods can look better than this.
>>712976960 it was more powerful which resulted in very few higher quality mods total, compared to the originals nearly non-existent quality mods

>>712976809 (OP) >there's going to be a whole revitalization of the modding community and everything. Is it? Only 30+ fags like me will play it, and just like the first one, people will play the legacy content. There are no autistic 15 year olds making mods today and we have children and a job and shiiiit
>>712976809 (OP) No, i expect is the usual sneaky try to censor something from the original game. There is basically no reason at all to remaster nwn 2.

>>712976809 (OP) fuck no. They try to pass off old shit as new sale. By what we've seen they havent done an ounce of work on their event resolution system. NN always felt clunky because of it
If they did optimized version similar to BG3 where animation and event resolution are separate but synchronized. sure.

NN revival was great, I hope Dungeon Siege get's same treatment one day.
>>712976809 (OP) I played NWN2 recently and it was worse than I remembered, at least the original campaign. Basically you enter a room, fight with 10 bandits, go to the next one, fight with 10 bandits again and again and again, it is kind of dull. That is a shame because I kind of liked the writing and the companions.

>>712977714 That's the sad truth, anon. The golden age of modding came from hordes of sleep-deprived teens with too much free time and just enough scripting knowledge to break things gloriously. Now it's just us washed-up grognards booting up Toolset at 2am before bed because our nostalgia won't let go. Unless WotC somehow breeds a new generation of obsessed autists, we're just gonna circlejerk over Shadowlords and Sands of Fate for another decade.

>>712976809 (OP) >there's going to be a whole revitalization of the modding community and everything There won't be. Unless you completely rework the animations, NWN2 is doomed to look, play and feel like shit. At least they're going to add controller support, so I'll probably replay it on Deck.
>>712976809 (OP) No. Unless they somehow make the gameplay more than just watching hitrolls. Which they won't.
