The switch 2 flopped.

Normie people hate it.
Collectors hate it.
Gamers hate it.
Youtubers hate it.
Reviewers are on the fence and mixed reactions even from paid shills.

Its been a colossal failure and any other excuse is cope. The initial sales are done. The hype is over. The post launch sales are done. 6 million at most.

Its dropping off like a rock as people see how locked down it is compared to switch 1

Yeah this is spot on. Nintendo completely missed the mark. Instead of improving on what made the first Switch special, they made it more locked down, more restricted, and somehow less fun. No backwards compatibility, limited physical support, heavy DRM, and barely any real innovation. What did they expect?

Casual players moved on fast, collectors are pissed, and core gamers already have better options with PC or Steam Deck. Even YouTubers are struggling to defend it. If they only moved around 6 million and it's already fading, then yeah it's a flop. Nintendo thought the brand alone would carry it, but people aren’t buying it thi

Oh come on, this is such an overreaction. The Switch 2 isn't perfect, yeah, but calling it a flop already is ridiculous. Selling 6 million in a short time is still a big deal, even if you don’t like the direction they took. Nintendo has always done their own thing. People act surprised about the lack of backwards compatibility or DRM stuff like this is new. The games will come, updates will improve things, and people will eventually come around. Everyone trashed the 3DS at launch too and now it’s considered one of the best handhelds. Just chill a bit.

Nah man, this is exactly what people should be saying. Nintendo gets a pass every time they screw something up because of nostalgia and brand loyalty. Six million means nothing if people are already shelving the thing and waiting for it to "get better later." That’s not a good launch, that’s cope.

They’ve been pulling the same anti-consumer crap for years. No backwards compatibility, locked ecosystems, overpriced accessories, barebones online. At some point people need to stop excusing it with “that’s just Nintendo being Nintendo.” Maybe if they actually listened for once instead of banking on Mario and Zelda to save them, this wouldn’t keep happening.

I'd like to believe that but its only dropping off because theres no new launch Mario or Zelda saving its ass. And no, Donkey Kong is shit, no one cares. At least with the Wii and the Switch 1, they were smart enough to have Twilight Princess and botw as launch titles.
