because it's really fun to play with your friends on survival mode, especially if you don't google anything. it feels like there's so much to explore

I haven't played Minecraft since back then but I remember it being about exploring spooky caves for loot and having to manage your hunger while the engineering majors were up top making aquaducts and random contraptions with redstone.
