Not that anon and I only play BLM casually but it feels worse because Fire IV casts no longer flow into each other, there's a short gap between casts that's too short to even weave with but it completely kills the flow of the BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM

You couldn't weave between Fire IVs on the old BLM either, and the cast timers overshot the GCD timer long enough that the instant you finished casting one Fire IV you could flow right into the next cast, it felt very smooth. But now there's a really short, awkward gap for some reason that breaks up the buttery smooth flow of those casts.

and they don't give a shit about imaginary buffs that can only be tracked with fflogs to calculate imaginary rdps, they want to see themselves top of the meter live to feel better about themselves, which is why sam vpr blm are all 3 of the top 4 most played jobs.
If PCT suddenly got buffed again to top dps everyone would abandon BLM in a blink and it would return to one of the least played jobs.

FF14 mobile was released today in China, bunch of mounts, minions and armour that isn't in the main game released with it.
