Are they even allowed to advertise that? How is this not illegal or at least a lawsuit waiting to happen?

Every time the script is posted here for ublock you get 10+ replies claiming it doesn't work for them somehow.

No but if I showed up for the movie and turned off the screen during the trailers I'd get kicked the fuck out.

I've exclusively used Brave on mobile and desktop for like 4 years. Sounds like you're a Foxcuck.

It fucking doesn't, im pretty sure adblock and ublock have a contract with twitch.
They filter every ad EXCEPT the ones in twitch.

On the contrary, ads should be deemed illegal because there are still instances of them being filled with malware and tracking. Youtube is the worst of them all, I just opened a stream and 36 ads/trackers have already been blocked, and the number keeps increasing whenever I check the tab, compared to only 5 on this thread.

Wasn't there a plugin for Twitch ads for Firefox? I forgot the name of it, if someone could share it.

Probably because Brave is the only alternative left these days, after Mozzila rebranded as a "global crew of activists" and changed their EULA to say that they can record everything you do while using Firefox for use with AI and to sell to data brokers

the governments official stance is that online ads are dangerous. google hasn't proven them wrong since they don't vet shit.
