>>713019590 (OP)Star miner looks cool. And I was hoping for that Nebulous game to get big. Spaceflight Simulator 2 as well.
Current go to game is Star Shatter, which you can still find free in a few places.
I'm quite happy with SpaceEngine.
>>713019590 (OP)Falling Frontier and Era One look good.
>>713019590 (OP)>Starship SimulatorHuh, I've always wanted a space game set in a 1:1 scale replica of the Solar System. I really just wanna fly to my favourite spots on Mars and homestead like Mark Watney, or watch the shores of Kraken Mare on Titan with Saturn hovering next to a dim sun piercing through the haze. And of course, I'd love to fly to a realised concept of what neighbouring exoplanets could look like, like the tortured Proxima b or super Earths around Tau Ceti. There doesn't seem to be any screenshots or gameplay of walking around on planet surfaces which is worrying. All I can see is soulless minimalist prefab spaceship interiors and it seems they fell for the artificial gravity meme too.
>>713020145im intrigued
tell me about star shatterer
>>713019590 (OP)Infinity

>>713019590 (OP)God I wish someone would remake Freelancer.
waiting for something to be made in the picrel universe
>1:1 scale galaxy
but that just means there is nothing to do
As silly as Freelancer was with the tiny planets and the static systems, it was actually conductive to fun gameplay.
>>713019590 (OP)Where's my hard scifi space game
I don't care about aliens
I don't care about FTL
I don't care about wormholes
I don't care about wacky spaceship designs
I don't care about anywhere outside the Solar system
>>713023280It wont even open on my pc anymore
>>713023709That's also what the HD mod does.
>>713023732oh, well now I just feel silly. I will try that anon.
>>713019590 (OP)I'm ready and waiting for Alliance Space Guard.
>>713023512Children of a Dead Earth?
>>713023201I just wish they'd put it on GOG. Underspace is on there so it makes no sense that they're not chomping at the bit to get the game there, especially when it's one of the most requested games.
>>713019590 (OP)I'm waiting for flight of Nova to go on a proper sale which I feel will be never so I might dick around with the demo or download it somewhere shady if I ever care enough.
>>713025565So you don't want hard scifi

>>713023083Any day now I'm sure of it.
>>713027601I've got more faith in it than Star Citizen.
>>713019590 (OP)I'm sad this dude didn't finish his Consitution Refit model with full interiors. Must have been crazy to walk through in VR.
>>713020868>complains that the game called starship simulator is simulating a starship and not a 1:1 full-fidelity experienc of the local stellar clusterYou are beyond braindead.
>>713027407no i don't want hard work in my games
I really want a bridge commander game, where you run are captain of the ship with a large NPCs crew responsible for all the different roles. The NPCs have their own skills, relationships, can die or be replaced, can fail, can be sent on missions, etc. You don't pilot the ship yourself, you just give orders. Kind of like Dwarf Fortress or The Sims in space.
i wonder if the expanse game just announced will be any good
>>713028068Space sim players are retards who don't get the idea that games can have specific goals they want to accomplish
>>713022007It's like a space sin where you fight across a small solar system playing different roles. Fighter in space, bomber flying to planet surface, then you can be a capital ship in the escorts or a carrier captain after a while. It's cool
