The games don't have individual netcodes. They all run off of the built in nintendo online netcode that all of their subscription services use.
It's why you can't just have a 2 player lobby for SC2, because it's basically just running an emulator that plays Gamecube games.

It's one of the few gamecube games they actually showed as part of the announcement that Gamecube would be on Switch 2.

If that's the case then Nintendo will make sure to send out some sort of patch for the Gamecube NSO app to smooth things over. There's no real reason to think they wouldn't otherwise.

The reason I think otherwise is because they never did that with any other Nintendo game that had dogshit netcode.

>no reason to think otherwise
Yeah no reason except, oh uh let's see, ah yes 22 years of awful online that only worked in mario kart because you were too busy driving to see the 11 people behind you lagging like it's nobodies buisness. However you also think half a second of input lag is totally fine and epic because you don't understand that input lag is supposed to be under 10ms for ideal inputs, and that SC2 on gc has an input delay of 10-30ms (depending on your display setup), not half a second. By the way, half a second is 500 milliseconds. So the input delay is only upped 50 times over, no big deal right bros! I love nintendo!

Obligatory kek, actually attempt to learn something instead of being a retard who excuses inexcusable issues like half a second input delay because they just hear a small number and think it's fine due to being entirely uneducated on the subject. "Bro it's only 1 bullet in your head, like 1 is a tiny number man idk what the big deal is pfff it's one. That's like one more than zero, so it's like the same as having zero bullets in your head"

I don't think you understand the scope of this, gaysport niggers basically ruined vidya in the mid 10s to pretend playing games is a real job, and their damage has been so catastrophic that to this day the industry hasn't recovered from it.
