Its good by first party controller standards - the sticks feel good and its the first to have back buttons without costing over a hundred
But third party controllers are still the better deal

Still ALPS potentiometer. The one silver lining is they're held in with a ribbon cable instead of soldered now, so it's a simpler replacement.
