Who cares? You think nintendo has to cater to a bunch of old manchildren? They're in the long game. They've been around since the late 1800s. They need new fans and new blood for the next 50 years until a new crop is ready.

The fact that it doesn't appeal to an aging 30-40 year old nostalgic over outdated NES games he grew up on made over 30 years ago means Nintendo is being successful in appealing to the younger and new audiences.

This is a sign of success.

SMB3 is a play performed in a theater, though. For being some weird retard that doesn't play games for gameplay, he still isn't very perceptive to the content in the game either.
