When are they going to remake this game with a proper fast traveling and waypoint system so I can finally play it?

Yeah even if they keep in the "hurr find your own way" thing they need to fix the janky combat.

Young millennial, just didn't have an Xbox or gaming PC growing up so never got to play this and it was too dated by the time I could play it yet no remake.

It DOES have a fast-travel system, just not in the map. Silk striders and spell-based traveling. It turns out to be an effectively faster game than Oblivion. Directions? Your speed was cut to give the illusion of a bigger game. I found myself rocketing past landmarks in the directions with the boots of blinding speed. You just have to compensate for that.

>every other TES game has fast travel

That's a caravan system that's not fast travel in the sense that you can jump anywhere.

You're being really pedantic. No animation plays out. It's functionally the same. You just don't access the travel through the map.

You just need to understand it works from a chance. You need to allocate a reasonable amount of points into Agility. You can just fortify willpower to be able to cast higher-level spells, unlike in Oblivion.

the map is not big enough to warrant fast travelslop like in the other games
