I've been a fan of this series since 3 was localized, and I'm never been more uninterested in a Yakuza game until this one. I don't know what it is, but I'm pretty sure it's because I have Majima fatigue, and pirates are lame. As is moving the setting to America.

I've played every Yakuza game including this one and... yeah it's a filler game. Kinda fun desu but a total throw away.

Yeah, you're right. Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name was kino. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed pirates but it was definitely just an excuse to reuse Hawaii.

I'd love a 0 gaiden starring Majima that takes place in the 90s during Japan's economic collapse. Showing how he became known as "The Mad Dog of Shimano" as well as focusing on his relationship with Park and Naoki.
