The remake's official translation changing every instance of Akiha saying "nii-san" to "Shiki" sucks, especially when you can hear the VA saying "nii-san". There was no reason to change that.

The remake designs are generally okay-looking. The only one that I think is absolute visual vomit is Ciel's. Arcueid's sucks because it misses the point of her original design, but the others don't really change enough to be outright awful. The Melty Blood and Carnival Phantasm designs are still better, obviously.

For a niche series, Tsukihime has a really shitty community, you have to deal with the edgier version of a powerscaler shirounigger obsessed with Shiki, yuritroons or Melty Blood tertiaries

I think it's worth it on it's current state after they fixed some of the stuff that made it unbearable when launched (auto combos,etc).It doesn't have that big of a playerbase compared to other fighters like Strive or even Granblue though so you might need to join the discord to get more matches
