Not having an OLED was a huge deal to tendies when the Steam Deck first shipped with the LCD screen what with the endless color range and black comparisons posted here. Now having an LCD screen isn't that bad and OLED is a meme, let's just forget about all the horrible ghosting, glare, input lag and dulled out colors on NS2.
Btw remember when the Switch had better value and bang for your buck? Well now the Deck is cheaper, plays the exact same games, has a better display, touchpads, and more, and tendies still defend their $450 brick with joycons that still drift, still no OLED screen, and the only games worth playing are Switch 1 backwards compatibility games. When Sony relied on backwards compatibility to sell the PS3 when they had no gaems, people rightfully panned them, and now this mega-successful console release is literally just the Switch but worse in every concievable metric except reaching a stable 30fps-60fps instead of constant dips. How is this revolutionary in 2025?
