There was one game on the system that rendered at 8k
It had to downscale from that to 4k because despite claims the console was completely incapable of outputting 8k.
In a sensible world the state would have fucked them hard for such a brazen lie, but videogames seem immune to any sort of advertising standards.

Weird that they removed it. 8k and 4k120hz are both part of the HDMI 2.1 standard. Xbox touted the same shit when they announced the Series X because, surprise surprise, it also uses HDMI 2.1. It's all hogwash and marketing horseshit.

I've seen some for sale a few times, and it's always some older model being sold at a massive discount because you'd have to be a retard to buy an 8k TV as basically nothing actually outputs 8k. There's no 8k movies and no 8k video games even on PC.
