I don't know about nu Donkey Kong but Ryse is pretty fun, I replay it every now and then and have fun, the gameplay is not good enough to carry a 20hr game but for a short and sweet experience? Ryse literally was pure static environment with single corridor levels. Basically a glorified movie. In DK Bananza EVERYTHING is destructible or interactable.
