Wasn't this game supposed to be the peak of the franchise? Why isn't everybody talking about it? When World everybody was released, everybody hyped for months, but with Wilds everybody went quiet. What happened?

I played World religiously, fucking LOVED that game for all its flaws, but I just can't get into wilds. I've played it, finished the campaign, but it just feels...idk I don't dislike it, but it hasn't captured my attention and I can't put my finger on why.

Singleplayer because mplayer is a stunfest. Playing with fren and not go for effective strats is fine, too

Of the two base games, I like Wilds WAY more than World. World is so slow and dull and easy that even with difficulty mods I can't stand the base game.
Wilds with some difficulty mods makes the early game a lot more fun, and the AT/8* don't need it at all
