I really dislike the fact that once something is built, it'll degade over time due to timefall, it really fucking bothers my OCD. It's like kojima gives you a tool to use but will force you to maintain it because reasons. Lets give the player a bit of fun and then snatch it away by adding real life logic to a videogame. Im already wasting a bunch of time gathering the required resources to build shit, why can't they just remain and function.

I had an issue with this starting out. If you kill yourself, you can just touch the inky black ghosts with your camera and make a dozen more connections and increase your chances of someone willing to help out

Had to look him up, but looking at his filmography, he's worked on what is arguably some of the best-looking anime ever. Patlabor 2, Ghost in the Shell, Jin-roh, Angel's Egg; the anime movie/show for DS2 is going to be really good.
