I really dislike the fact that once something is built, it'll degade over time due to timefall, it really fucking bothers my OCD. It's like kojima gives you a tool to use but will force you to maintain it because reasons. Lets give the player a bit of fun and then snatch it away by adding real life logic to a videogame. Im already wasting a bunch of time gathering the required resources to build shit, why can't they just remain and function.

I had an issue with this starting out. If you kill yourself, you can just touch the inky black ghosts with your camera and make a dozen more connections and increase your chances of someone willing to help out
