i still don't know how they got away with it, i went through 4 to RRoD with my 5th suffering from disc drive failure, then a year later they bricked my console for 'modifying my disc drive' which they did themselves during repairs
still, it was a big deal - with retailers extending guarantees to (3 or 4?) years and microsoft extending free repairs independent of that
but the xbox as a brand should've died there and then with this console, not only because they shoved a completely unfinished product out of the door to beat the competition but also because it introduced almost every jewish aspect of gaming we have today: from paid online, ads on the dashboard, microtransactions etc
even with don mattrick sabotaging the xbox one the xbox STILL BEING HERE is literally nothing short of a miracle
