OG Oblivion absolutely has a great UI. Especially the enemy health bar that is around the crosshair instead of top of the screen.

elden ring.
stupidly large healthbars of bosses that are the entire width of the screen.
when you have an affliction that bar is right in the middle of the damn screen. if you have a few it blocks the entire view.
a completely pointless compass that you cant even turn off

oblivion and skyrim are both the worst of both worlds where one is overdesigned and overstylized while having awful interactivity and skyrim is flat, minimalist and has awful interactivity.
