mkw has good stuff, but they wasted a lot of dev time on the dumb open world. I think that would honestly solve most peoples issues with the game.

i think the connected world could have worked but it would require the intermissions to feel like normal races themselves similar to warios mountain in mk8. its not really realistic for them to pull that off but its possible. i probably would have suggested making them closer together at least and at worst making it so you do two laps of an actual track to make up for the shorter intermission, but again it would have just been better if the open world wasnt there at all
