they're honestly really cool and they're good when you're emulating a game that comes from that console but they're a little overpriced even including inflation

Most expensive is Gamecube at $65, but yeah they are expensive. That's the biggest catch.

They feel identical to their original versions though. N64 even has the grindy stick

They're overpriced, require a subscription to even be eligible to purchase (the highest tier one?), and they are limited to 1 per account.

Just at launch, only the gamecube has a limit now.

Considering the GameCube is the one in the spotlight right now (and presumably once Smash 6 comes out it will be even more prominent) you're probably fine just getting one now.

Nothing. They're really good. Only issue is they are expensive and you need to be a member to buy them and they're always sold out.

Its impossible to charge the NES controller if you're playing with a Switch 2. Fucking retarded design decision they only did because they thought it'd be cute, now you have to either get a third party charging station or wait for them to re-release them

They are pretty good and mostly faithful to the originals. Too faithful even.
The N64 Switch controller is using the exact same stick that the original N64 used with all the known downsides.

actually it's worse, because it's using potentiometers instead of the old mechanism the original stick did

How does "officially licensed" work for something like that. Nintendo has everything they need to properly recreate a controller exactly the way it was, but can a third party?
