When is Nintendo finally going to own up to the CD-i debacle and reference it in newer games? It's kind of inevitable at this point, but they're taking too long for it to be as funny as it could be.

Honestly surprised it was never referenced in NOA's gay localizations.
Seems like something they'd sneak into a missable dialogue.

But that aside, it's not like many Zelda games get acknowledged/referenced at all outside the most popular ones and even then it's not much outside of an easter egg with no real bearing on the ""timeline"" or ""greater story"" aside from similarly named locations and such.
I mean, Majora's Mask is in ALBW just hanging on the wall, and that has some crazy story implications, but it's just basically a cool easter egg and nothing more in-game.
How about we get Tingle back instead?
