Undertale Kickstarter had one of those "put your OC in the game" tiers that KS projects have since learned NOT to do with two slots available. One of them was Muffet, who Toby loved so much that he went beyond what was promised and made her a prominent, mandatory boss fight. The other was this self-insert fat/scat fetish OC that the creator had already made content with prior to the Kickstarter. Toby was as nice as could be about it but REALLY tried to convince the backer to change the character, even offering to just give him his money back, but the dude wouldn't take no for an answer. Toby was eventually able to talk him into being some super-secret discovery and the backer seemed happy with it, but after a while started whining about how Toby BETRAYED him.
