I hate this fucking thing. My party can never kill it. I know I suck, but one would assume that I could eventually find a carry, but no. Awful boss.

One of the easiest IMO, stay on the mole cricket's ass in the first phase then focus on not getting bulldozed in the second, paying special attention to the light pillar nukes. Everything's very telegraphed and easily reactable, just need some proper damage (fire)

Me and my friends beat it first try, just had the Ironeye on the butterfly and the melees on the scorpion. I don't even really know his moveset, I'd put him in the bottom half of bosses in terms of difficulty

I got HARD STUCK on this motherfucker for like ten attempts on release. I actually went to google if I'm missing something but nope, it's a straightforward fight. Then watching someone else play I realized that the fucker has like 3 moves for each bug. Why am I even struggling with what's by all means a mid-game Dark Souls boss in terms of moveset? My mindset changed, I started treating it like just a regular Souls boss, read the telegraphs, play smart and all that. I cleared it by just being patient and actually being aware of what I'm doing. If you're playing with randos like I do most of the challenge actually comes from ressing people while having aggro. Nothing to be done about that. Oh and playing Guardian on it was a big trap, nobody cares about "tanking" this nigga, it's a waste of time with the amount of HP they have.

Guardian should be doing impromptu guards into guard counters more than trying to beat his shield to attract attention. Everyone's gonna be wailing on it so you're not gonna get much aggro, just focus on staying alive, whacking it, and building your ult to rescue your idiot teammates when they inevitably fall.

I love playing Guardian since I always feel safe getting a run going smoothly on day 1 and 2, I just love how much shit you can salvage just by being him with randos. On this particular boss though I think you need as much damage as humanly possible because the longer the fight goes the less it is in your favor.
