Sure...but that was on xbox. I'm on PC now. I would imagine it's a play anywhere title, but that means I'm not getting a Steam version and I don't really like playing PC games outside of steam unless it's not available there.

Correct. When I purchased it, I got it on Xbox because I didn't play on PC at the time. Ultimate Edition is also not a Play Anywhere title, so I would have had to purchase it again when I got a PC if I wanted to play it there. If I did purchase it again, then I'd be eligible for the free upgrade to the new Reloaded version, but it would be through the Microsoft Store, which I do not want. there was a thread earlier, but /v/ is too fast for something relatively niche like this and the people that do like it here just like the campaign, actual mp enthusiasts are very rare
anyway, i'm having fun and doing better than i thought i would after not having played since 3's earlier days, but i still get rolled in execution by the real sweats who never miss a beat, i have no idea how some people move so fluidly in fucking gears 1, i'm rolling into cover i'm standing directly against like half of the time
also kinda feeling like i might just get it out of my system this weekend and refund after the beta ends desu, i don't see the real game lasting longer than a month on pc
