Megaman is pretty good, but it's kind of limited as a franchise because it can't really feel good in 3D.

Just make more classic and X games. 11 was great.
And make another MML game, fans demand it, even though I'm not big into the MML gameplay.

The games are designed to be played blind, but I admit when I was young and first using emulators I looked up the order. IMO it's more fun if you just explore and roll with what happens. Looking up order is kind of like using mimic tear on every boss in ER. Weaknesses are for the boss rush

You can more or less unlock any character you want right out of the gate, but actual progression will require picking a meta character and weapon, grinding through the game, dealing with it's various systems on top of systems, currencies on top of currencies, and combat level shit, like any other "online" gacha.
