With current currency exchange rates, aren't they the same? 80 USD is about 120 AUD. I think games just seem expensive because the cost of living in general is higher in Aus than the US so people have less disposable income, but games themselves are like 3 or 4 hours of minimum wage compared to 8-10 hours in the US.
