Maybe Tom Clancy's HAWX? Crimson Skies is fun but ancient.
There isn't that much in the genre, especially if you exclude space games.
Most are older, like Secret Weapons over Normandy or Heroes over Europe.

Freespace is in the borderland between arcade and sim, leaning towards sim.
