The game is still woke. I have not played the game so I cannot comment on its quality, however there have been successful woke games. I am not someone who believes woke automatically = failure. I also do not believe that woke automatically = success. I think that a game's quality and reviews are most important and a lot of woke games that flopped were also just awful fucking games. But then you had woke games that reviewed well or were sequels to successful games like Last of Us II, Hogwarts Legacy, Spiderman II, etc. I think it is harder for original woke games to succeed.

Modern games aren’t woke for simply having black or female characters. There are plenty of gacha games with majority female cast with different races of characters that aren’t called woke.
The core of wokeness is who makes the piece of entertainment. Today, it’s made by people who hate whites/males/heteros and who don’t actually care about video games.
