Has anyone noticed that the decline of the Sonic series and the ensuing abuse from Egoraptor types demanding that the series gut all attempts at dark themes and complexity coincided directly with the series attempting to appeal to weird kids who would have been dealing with abuse from similar people at that point in their lives? Then we grew up, now we’re all here, and the songs still speak directly to us:
