the game is better than most games cause it doesnt tell you what to do, YOU have to figure out jabu jabu wants a fish from a bottle in the bottom of a lake the game says nothing about. you have to win the diving game for an item to dive, and figure all that out.

There was a weird period of time in the late 90's where tendies had extreme penis envy for FF7's blowout success and OOT was the closest thing on N64 to rival it. FF7 was known for its story at the time, so they had to pretend OOT had this amazing intricate story "like FF7". This is where "Zelda is an RPG" also came from. It's obviously not, and the N64 infamously lacked them while the genre was blowing up on the PS1, so they just started saying that it was.
