Fuck you, now i remember that stupid long ass boring dungeon in Cosmo Canyon, and the other segment where you are forced to play as Caith Sith, i almost dropped the game at that point

many rpgs, in the sense, that you start out doing 10 dmg vs. enemies that have 100 hp and then end the game doing 1000 dmg vs. enemies that have 10000 hp and probably also look the same as the enemies from the beginning, just in a different color and also behave the exact same way and your character also being just as good / bad at fighting as he was in the beginning of the game and then the game makes you fight thousands of those

turn based rpgs are especially guilty of this, because all they do is change the numbers, give enemies different names and visuals, but it essentially is the same thing from the first fight to the last, with nov variation whatsoever
