you make it sound like it's hard to get. If you care about farming don horns you should easily be past the point where you have marco's shop maxed so you can buy all the trip appliques you need. It's a bit of a grind to do the reroll thing but it saves time on every other grind so it's absolutely worth doing.

there aren't any crafts in-game currently that you can't get Perfect on with the second-best crafting tools available, and those are FAR easier to make than True Time. You want as much gathering as possible to do the level 90-100 stuff in troves more easily. You don't really need the hoe because farming is just less important anyway

Just bring them with you when you go into a gathering dungeon or tackling legendary challenges in Ginormosia. If they're lower level than the gathering node, they will quickly shoot up to that level. In general, nodes that are higher level than you give you much more exp than those slightly lower than your level.

Well, the same applies to the player lives. You level up gathering by, well, gathering. There's no shortcuts here. Just try to aim for gathering nodes that are higher level than you are. That's why raising level of Ginormosia is important, as is going further back in time in the groves. Just make sure it's not TOO tough for you. You can can always dial the difficulty back a bit, so you could keep a comfortable pace.
